Along the Tour of the Dingle Peninsula We Saw...
The Bay...The rolling green hill sides and across the Bay you can see the outline of the "Sleeping Giant" Blasket Island, which saw it's last Irishman leave it's shores in 1953 when they evacuated the remaining residents to the main land.
Some rocks...The Riasc Monastic Site was a hidden gem off the beaten path, our bus could only squeeze so far so we walked along a deserted road to the excavated clearing enclosed in a four foot stone wall.

More rocks...The Gallarus Oratory, which can date back between the 6th-12th centuries was a small Christian chapel in the shape of an up-turned boat where local and foreign Christians would come to worship. Although how they could see in the chapel during the winter beats me, it was pretty dark with just that small window in the back.
