We've Arrived!!
Mom and I arrived in Dublin a day before to overcome jetlag from our long flight from the Emerald City to the Emerald Isle and boy did we, out at 7 p.m. Rejuvenated Sunday morning we set out to do what any Catholic in the Republic of Ireland would do, went to Sunday mass. Check one on my list of things to do while in Ireland!

St. Andrew's Tourist Center, it might seem daunting on the outside but everyone is very helpful and friendly within it's wall.
I'm back at College, well Trinity College anyway. Not my Alma Mater, but wouldn't that been amazing since I was an English Major.

Gavin our Dublin guide, had insights about the city. The most important tidbit...You can't cross one side of Dublin to the other without passing at least one pub.
Dublin is littered with these lovely Georgian Doors, they're so cute! Told mom we were remodeling her front door to match.

Kilmainham Goal
On our way out of Dublin we stopped at Kilmainham Gaol, a former prison that played an important role during the Famine and the Irish Rebellion. It was heartbreaking to see the tiny cells that they would cram full of people during the famine but yet people willing got arrested for the food provided to the prisoners.

One more prisoner checking into Kilmainham Goal.
